Landscape lighting is the one improvement that changes a property twice: once at night, when uplit palms and a washed façade give the house depth it never has in flat Florida daylight, and once at the curb, where a lit home reads as cared for.
Our standard work is warm 2700K, the colour temperature of tungsten. It flatters stucco, shell stone and bark, and it does not turn a royal palm the blue-white of a parking lot. Fixtures go where the light is needed and stay out of sight otherwise. The effect should be visible; the hardware should not.
Where it goes further is the low-voltage and networking side. A combined 20+ years in low voltage means we are not limited to a transformer and a mechanical timer. We integrate lighting with smart-home systems, install colour-changing fixtures for the people who want them, put the controls on Wi-Fi and a properly configured network, and run outdoor sound as part of the same system. One company designs it, wires it, networks it and supports it.
Not every property wants that, and we never push it. A clean, warm, well-aimed scheme is still the right answer for most homes. But if you want the lighting to change with the season, come on with the sunset, respond to a phone or a voice assistant, or play music across the patio, we can build that properly rather than bolting on a consumer gadget that drops off the network every fortnight.

How much does landscape lighting cost in Southwest Florida?
It depends on fixture count and how much trenching a property needs, so we quote after walking it rather than over the phone. A typical front-of-house scheme is a handful of uplights, path lights and a transformer; a whole property with smart control and audio is a different order of work. We give a fixed price before we start.
Will the lights survive a hurricane?
Fixtures are rated for coastal conditions and mounted so they can be lifted and stored if a storm is forecast. Low-voltage cable is buried, and transformers are mounted clear of expected standing water. Salt air is the slower problem: brass and copper fixtures weather rather than corrode, which is why we use them near the water.
Can the lighting work with a smart home system?

Colour-changing fixtures and outdoor audio go in as part of the same build rather than being bolted on afterwards.
Why 2700K and not brighter white?
2700K is the colour of tungsten. It flatters stucco, shell stone and bark, and keeps a royal palm looking like a palm rather than a car park. Cooler light reads as security lighting, which is a different job.
